X2 Power: Pro Showdown Teaser
The Concept
X2 Power is a Wisconsin-based battery brand built to perform across a wide range of conditions, serving anglers all over the country. With products trusted in some of the harshest conditions, the brand chose to spotlight its reach through a series of Pro Showdown episodes—featuring professional anglers and leaning into personality, competition, and real-world use rather than conventional product centric messaging.
The Project
Grit was brought in to produce an episode featuring Bassmaster Classic Champion Justin Hamner and FLW Walleye Champion Tommy Kemos. Set on the ice in Wisconsin, the matchup gave Kemos a clear home-field advantage, while Hamner faced a steep learning curve in completely unfamiliar conditions. What followed was a mix of competition, adaptation, and good-natured ribbing as Hamner worked to find his footing and stay in the fight.
The Execution
Grit handled full production from field to finish, including camera, drone, and audio capture, followed by post-production editing, motion graphics, and color grading. The final piece stays true to the experience—letting the environment, the athletes, and the moments carry the story.
